Crowdfunding – We need your help

Theatre of Minds is a project that we set up in order to raise money for the charity Young Minds. However, in order to successfully do this, we need to raise some funds to help us get off the ground. It is very important to us that all of the money from ticket sales and collections on the night go directly to charity, so that we raise as much as possible. Therefore, the money that we use to hire the theatre, market the event and aquire set and props will need to come from somewhere before the event.

Here is where you come in
We have set up a crowdfunding page using a site called

Here we aim to raise about £1000 to cover the costs of the production (although any money left over from that will also be donated to charity). We are still exploring other fundraising options, but we hope that this will be our main source of funding. Given that Theatre of Minds is a project for our community, it seems quite appropriate that it’s financial basis is also forged from community spirit.

How can you help?
There are two ways for you to help us get the funding that we need:
1) Donate via the crowdfunding page: Any donations however big or small will be greatly appreciated by everyone involved. We want to put on the best production possible to support the work that Young Minds are doing, but we can only do this with some funds behind us.
2) Whether you are able to donate or not, you can still share the crowdfunding page, or this blog post, on social media to spread the word as far as we can. Tag us in your tweet using @theatreofminds and share this link on your facebook. The further we spread this page, the wider our community will grow.

Thankyou for your support
